- Remembering to move the ring.
Some women find that it's hard for them to remember to move the ring on the CycleBeads. That's why it is important to move it at the same time every day. Choose a time that will be easy for you - like when you brush your teeth in the morning. Also, try placing them somewhere that you will see them, such as hanging the beads on your bathroom door or keeping them in a box on your nightstand.
- Checking to make sure that the ring is on the right day.
Some women forget whether or not they have moved the ring that day. To make it easier to check, you should mark the first day of your period on a calendar. Then if you are ever uncertain, you can count the calendar days and count the beads to be sure the ring is on the right bead for that day.
- Making sure that no one else moves the ring.
Some women are concerned that others, especially children, might play with their CycleBeads and move the ring. We recommend talking with your children and informing them that CycleBeads are not a toy. We also suggest placing CycleBeads somewhere that is out of children's reach.
